Purpose and Objectives

The purpose for which this Association is formed are:

• To deal with technical and trade promotional problems of the tile, marble and terrazzo contracting industry in the northeast Ohio area.

• To strive for improvement of employer-labor relations within the industry and for reasonable and equitable solutions to problems of labor, including labor working conditions.

• To do any and all other lawful acts and things to develop the ability of the industry better to serve the public, to promote the expansion of the tile, marble and terrazzo industry and to protect all other legitimate common interests of the members.

Membership – Eligibility

Any person, firm, partnership, or corporation actively engaged in contracting for commercial, industrial and/or institutional tile, marble and terrazzo work and who is signatory to the union contracts of the tradepersons he/she employs shall be considered a tile, marble and terrazzo contractor within the meaning of this instrument and, if accepted as a member of the Construction Employers Association, shall be eligible for membership in this Association, subject to the requirements, terms, and conditions of membership.
