Residential Wireman

What They Do

Residential Wiremen (Residential Electricians) install and repair wiring in new and existing residences. This includes installing the service panel, branch circuits, lighting and power outlets and switches and receptacles. Cable television and phone wiring is also done by the Residential Wireman.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18
  • Complete application
  • Legally reside in the United States
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license

Application Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED
  • One full year of algebra
  • Pass substance abuse test

Apprenticeship

  • 2 year program
