This award was developed in the spirit of teamwork that is characteristic of AGC. The bronze portion of the award symbolizes a look toward the future of construction in Ohio.
Each year the Build Ohio Award will be given to companies whose work in the
construction field demonstrates an outstanding effort which we all hope to
achieve. Awards are given in following categories:
- new construction under $10 million (must have a total project amount of
less than $10M as opposed to the project's contract amount)
- for companies with an annual revenue under $20M
- for companies with an annual revenue over $20M
- new construction over $10 million
- renovation
- industrial/heavy
- specialty
Projects that receive awards are evaluated by a panel of judges and awards are presented by the AGC of Ohio, Columbus, Ohio Chapter to firms that have distinguished themselves by delivering difficult jobs through superior management techniques using innovative materials and job delivery systems, all the while displaying excellence in client services.
