On-Line OSHA Training

Online Safety Training Now Available
By Wayne Creasap
Director of Safety and Education

Construction is a deadline focused business.  Sometimes you need supplies, equipment and people, now!

To this end, beginning on September 1 the Construction Employers Association (CEA) has your answer.  We have partnered with Summit Training to provide you and your employees with on-line OSHA 10- and 30-Hour training.  The training is completed by the employee, at their own pace, on their own time and from any computer that is connected to the internet.  The rules are the same, once a person starts the training it must be completed within 6 months and each section must receive a passing score.  The cost of the OSHA 10 hour class is $149.95 and the OSHA 30 hour is $495.95.  Fees are paid with a credit card, check or company purchase order to Summit Training.

Training offered in person through the CEA will be cheaper to you in the long run, but we understand that you sometimes can’t wait that long, so we’re offering this service as a possible solution to your problem.  At the completion of the training, the employee can print out a certificate indicating their successful completion.  A short time later, the employee will receive their OSHA training card in the mail and finish the training process formally.  Cards will be mailed to the employee’s company for copying into personnel files or Human Resources and then should be forwarded to the employee.

CEA is pleased to offer you and your company this service.  If you have any questions or problems, feel free to contact Wayne Creasap by calling 216.398.9860.  To take the training click here.
