The Construction Industry Service Program has available the Construction Safety and Health Handbook which was compiled by Jim Brown, CISP’s former Director of Safety/Education.
The handbook, pocket-sized and illustrated, is designed to familiarize employees with the safety rules and OSHA regulations. It is not intended to be used as a complete safety manual. The handbook is easy to read and organized for easy reference.
The last page of the book is a perforated receipt form to be signed by the employer and employee and removed for placement in the employee's personnel file.
The handbook will be distributed to those "participating" employees free of charge for those employers who invite the Operation Safe Site van to their construction job site.
