Employee Substance Abuse Training: TOOLBOX OPTION
The CISAP Consortium has received approval from the Ohio BWC to utilize Toolbox Training to meet the substance abuse training requirement for the Drug Free Workplace Program. To take advantage of this option, the following must be followed:

Toolbox Employee Training is ONLY available for SECOND YEAR TRAINING and BEYOND. Traditional training must be utilized in the first year.

Toolbox training must be under supervision of a competent person. Responsibilities:
- Download all forms from the CEA website (see below)
- Schedule toolbox training in the company (training requires 20 minutes for presentation & 10 minutes of question/answer period.
- Oversee individuals assigned to give toolbox talks
- Distribute toolbox talks and materials
- Collect completed Training Attendance Sheets
- Enter attendance information, after verifying all individuals attended four modules, into the Mobil Medical Corporation CISAP Database (Website access: see instruction sheet)
- Fax Completed Attendance Sheets (must use attendance sheet you downloaded) to CEA/CISP at 216-398-9801
- Keep Attendance Sheets in Company Training File
- Submit all questions the trainer can not answer for a response (answer) for the next toolbox session.

Best Results: Plan Toolbox Trainings in Advance and Complete in 4 Consecutive Weeks.
- Toolbox Talks Should be Given by a Person Who Normally Delivers Safety Toolbox Talks and be given with a supervisor oversight.

REMEMBER: Upon verifying that each individual has attended all four modules, input into the Mobil Medical data base.
