  is designed for professionals with varying levels
  of construction experience with a desire to learn
  the best practices in scheduling and enhance thei
 r scheduling processes. This course will include s
 cheduling concepts\, practical approaches\, schedu
 ling tools (P6 and Microsoft Project) and integrat
 ing project software. </p>\n \n <p>By the end of t
 his course\, participants will be able to:</p>\n \
 n <ul>\n 	<li>Understand the basic principles of a
 nd reasons for planning\, scheduling\, lead time\,
  leveling and resource control</li>\n 	<li>Adequat
 ely schedule and control residential\, commercial\
 , industrial\, manufacturing\, engineering\, or bu
 siness projects</li>\n 	<li>Generate bar charts\; 
 critical path networks\; including early start\, l
 ate start\, early finish\, late finish\, durations
 \, float\, and identification of the critical acti
 vities that affect the timely completion of the pr
 oject</li>\n 	<li>Correlate manpower loading and c
 osts to the schedule and learn how to control and 
 accurately report progress of the project</li>\n
