Presenter's Bio:

Captain Shawn Bain retired after serving over 30 years with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office in Columbus, Ohio an agency responsible for serving a population of over one million citizens. He has been assigned many different areas of responsibility in Law Enforcement including the jail division, patrol division, canine unit, SWAT, and Special Investigations conducting vice and narcotics investigations. He has also served as a supervisor in all of these areas. Shawn’s expertise in Law Enforcement lies within drug investigations. He has 22 years of experience in the drug field

Sgt. Michael N. Powell served with honor and distinction with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office for over 32 years, retiring in April 2006 with the rank of sergeant. Since his retirement, Sgt. Powell continues to work part-time as a Public Information Specialist with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, conducting drug training throughout the State of Ohio and many other parts of the United States. For the last 26 years of Sgt. Powell’s law enforcement career, he was assigned to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office Special Investigations Unit (SIU), working narcotics, vice, and stolen property investigations.
