     (cell phone, tablet, or computer will work - class size limited to 10 students)

CLASS MATERIAL MUST BE PICKED UP AT CEA PRIOR TO DAY OF CLASS.

In getting through COVID times &  keeping everyone safe, this First Aid, CPR, AED class is a "Full Virtual" class.  This class covers First Aid, CPR, and AED.

Understanding How This Will Work: 

  1. Pick up class material at CEA prior to day of class
  2. Dial into a Zoom meeting using the access code given to you the day before the meeting.                                             You must have speakers and a camera, and your device must be propped up (cell phone would work, lap top, tablet or computer).  Instructor must see you at all times.
  3. Instructor takes roll call.
  4. Class instruction begins followed by a test.
  5. Then the hands On.  Paper pad (in your class material that you picked up) will be used for proper placement of your AED pads and proper placement for CPR instruction.
  6. "CPR Feed Back Device" (small red button, in your class material) advises the instructor if compressions are being done correctly, as instructor is not in room.  This device lights up and beeps and is used in place of the manican used in a CPR class.  It alerts the instructor if compressions are being done correctly.
  7. Successful completion of class gives you your First Aid/CPR/AED card mailed to you.

  • Checking an unconscious victim
  • Checking the conscious victim
  • Prevention
  • Helping a conscious victim
  • Rescue breathing
  • Helping an unconscious choking victim
  • Adult CPR
  • Preventing cardiovascular disease

First Aid

  • Injuries
  • Wounds/Bleeding
  • Shock
  • Burns
  • Injuries to muscles, bones and joints
  • Sudden illness
  • Seizures
  • Diabetic emergencies
  • Poisons
  • Heat and cold temperature extremes
