Safety, Risk and Quality Control

Class will help individuals prepare for a Loss Control Review, provide guidance for identifying and managing risks related to subcontractor activities, general liability concerns, quality control, and transferring risk.   Techniques for recognizing claims mitigation and management techniques will also be covered. 

Joyce Diewald is a Construction Service Specialist based in Cleveland Ohio. Currently she is managing loss control services for key account contractors in her region. In addition, she teaches insurance and safety courses at Kent State University to Construction Management students. Joyce has a degree in Business Management from Baldwin Wallace College and was a member of the Army National Guard.  Joyce holds her Certified Safety Professional designation (CSP), Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS), Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), and OSHA Trainer designations.
