Associate Client Manager, Group Benefits

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility
  • Supports key service contact efforts to identify, design, communicate and manage cost effective benefit solutions to minimize client risk; may operate as the lead service contact on specific accounts designated by the supervisor.
  • Supports the client's integrated and comprehensive health management strategy; works closely and builds relationships with client contacts at the Human Resources leadership level.
  • Provides direct administrative support as required for senior staff assigned to their collective book of business.
Additional Areas of Responsibility
  • Supports team in the preparation of carrier or client deliverables which includes scheduling meetings, obtaining carrier open enrollment information, and the proofing, printing, binding and distribution of presentations.
  • Supports the onboarding of new clients, which includes obtaining historical and current information for the building and cataloging of client files in the internal systems; ensures the accuracy of all data and the capturing of commissions.
Other Information/Requirements
  • At least 3 to 5 or more years of industry knowledge is required.
  • Bachelor degree in Business Management from a four-year college or university and three to five years or more of related experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience in medical benefits and ancillary lines of coverage.
  • Prior experience working for an insurance brokerage firm.
  • Life, Health and Accident License required.
  • Professional designations of RHU, GBA, CEBS, PHR, etc preferred.
