Building Systems Supervisor - HVAC
Plans, supervises, organizes and controls activities in the operation and maintenance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration (HVAC/R) and boiler systems. Responsible for service contracts and all aspects of projects from inception to conclusion. Serves as lead in managing efficient preventive and corrective maintenance programs for HVAC/R and boiler equipment. Implements projects to ensure HVAC/R and boiler equipment is properly maintained to support the wastewater treatment plants, EMSC, GJM and other District buildings and to ensure cost savings.
Responds to emergencies, troubleshoots equipment and systems, and conducts equipment performance evaluations. Participates in engineering design reviews and nominates Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects. Maintains good working relationships with internal departments and external vendors. Performs other duties of a similar nature as may be required.
- Candidate must possess an associate degree, preferably in Applied Science, Technology Management, Engineering, Engineering Technology or a closely related field.
- Candidate must possess eight (8) years of experience performing skilled work in the operation and maintenance of HVAC systems.
- Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license with a driving record in accordance with the District’s acceptable guidelines.
- Candidate must possess a current and valid Stationary Engineer’s License issued by the State of Ohio
