Business Development Manager
Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility
- Assist with management of business attraction real estate leads from JobsOhio, Team NEO, and other sources for Cuyahoga County through relationships with local municipal and quasi-public Economic Development staff. This includes completion of RFIs and managing property records in the state's property database, ZoomProspector, in conjunction with local partners.
- Manage business outreach marketing initiatives to build awareness around the GCP Business Development team to generate inbound referrals and warm calls.
Additional Areas of Responsibility
- Assist Business Development team with client interviews including recorder of information, follow-up, and coordination with partners and internal program teams.
- Manage the CRM Systems, Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce, for business development initiatives.
- Create and manage reports for business development activities as requested
Other Information/Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in appropriate related field.
- 1 - 3 years of experience in business management, business administration, marketing, economic development or other related field, required.
- Experience writing business correspondence and handling phone contacts with companies.
- Ability to record business interview information accurately and organize information in databases.
- Knowledge of computer programs relevant to the assignment such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Data Base programs, PowerPoint, and other computer programs.
