Construction Engineer - The Ohio Turnpike
Assists in writing and reviewing requests for proposals (RFP) for consulting services for construction projects; co-ordinates and reviews construction plans and specifications prepared by consulting engineers for constructability, accuracy and completeness, and for compliance with applicable codes and policies; reviews consulting engineers construction cost estimates and prepares cost estimates for construction projects; develops construction and materials specifications for projects; assists with addressing questions during bidding process, and coordinating addendums.
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related curriculum required. Must also be a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio with a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in a responsible position involving the management of highway engineering and/or highway construction projects.
