Construction Observer
Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility
Our Construction Engineering Group is seeking qualified Construction Observers for an array of construction projects for the upcoming construction season. The successful candidates will report to the Manager of Construction Engineering in our Infrastructure Group.
Additional Areas of Responsibility
- Performs inspection of all phases of construction in regards to quantity & quality of materials and work
- Prepares daily inspection reports
- Coordinate field problems with the Manager of Construction Engineering
- Inspect quality and quantity of materials, quality of workmanship and construction methods
- Uses initiative in making suggestions to improve construction projects
- Coordinates utility shutdowns and/or interruptions
