Main Areas of Responsibility:
Provides leadership for and assumes operational, budgetary and supervisory oversight and accountability for University Facilities Services, Facilities Management, and Capital Planning functional areas which include Real Estate/Property Management, Building Operations & Maintenance, Grounds & Motor Pool, Utilities, Mail, Shipping & Receiving Services, and the Fast Coordination Center.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Works with the University administration and state agencies to ensure that facility planning and service delivery programs properly support the mission of the University and are in compliance with state standards and regulations. Represents the University to various internal and external constituencies, including the Board of Trustees, unions, trade groups, and state and local officials. Interacts professionally with all internal and external customers using strong interpersonal skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Planning or Business Management. Ten years of progressively responsible leadership experience in facility planning, project design, construction management, or facilities operations.
Master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Planning, Business or related field. S
