General Maintenance

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility

• Perform equipment and facility repairs to ensure reliable operation to provide a safe living and learning environment. 
• Conduct testing, inspections, and preventive maintenance on systems and equipment to minimize equipment failures and corrective maintenance.
• Monitor and evaluate system and equipment operation to detect, investigate and prevent problems that could cause failure.

Additional Areas of Responsibility

• Vocational or technical training
• Experience working with keys, locks, keying systems, and other documented locksmith activity.

Troubleshoot and complete routine repairs, general maintenance, and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment as assigned.

Other Information/Requirements

• High School diploma or GED 
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in building maintenance or trades
• Valid driver’s license 
• Knowledge of assigned systems and equipment
• Ability to analyze equipment conditions to determine effective maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to complete timesheets, work orders and e-mail on the computers.
• As needed to analyze operation and make adjustments and repairs to maintain efficient performance
