HVAC / Air Quality Technician 3
Assumes responsibility for maintaining, installing, repairing and operating HVAC systems and auxiliary systems. Compiles Information and produces reports and logs. Assists with fire safety. Acts as the first responder to all emergencies related to facilities such as water leaks, broken windows, leaky faucets, etc.
The Building Operations department has two (2) full-time, permanent and one (1) full-time temporary positions to fill. The temporary position may end on or before 12/31/2020.
1st shift – Sunday-Thursday 6:30am-3:00pm
2nd shift-Tuesday-Saturday 2:30pm-11:00pm
Completion of a 2 year HVAC program at a technical school and 2 years of commercial HVAC experience or 4 years commercial HVAC experience. Must have working knowledge of hydronic heating systems. Must have a valid Driver’s License and establish driver eligibility under the University’s Motor Vehicle Policy.
Preferred Qualifications - Building automation systems experience (JCI or Delta preferred).
