HVAC / Air Quality Technician 3 (3 Positions)
Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility
Assumes responsibility for maintaining, installing, repairing and operating HVAC systems and auxiliary systems. Compiles Information and produces reports and logs. Assists with fire safety. Acts as the first responder to all emergencies related to facilities such as water leaks, broken windows, leaky faucets, etc.
Other Information/Requirements
- Completion of a 2 year HVAC program at a technical school and 2 years of commercial HVAC experience or 4 years commercial HVAC experience.
- Must have working knowledge of hydronic heating systems.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and establish driver eligibility under the University’s Motor Vehicle Policy.
- Possession of a 3rd Class Steam Engineers License or equivalent experience.
