Manager - Facilities Electrical & Information Services
Manages and understands the electrical distribution and other systems to ensure safe, functional, and compliant operations, and to support future development. Serves as System expert for all electrical matters. Develops, manages, and enhances a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to ensure the System has an effective tool for managing and reporting preventive maintenance, service work orders, and all aspects of compliance required of the Facilities operation.
Manages a staff of diverse skilled trades. Ensures compliance with Electrical, Joint Commission, and other Codes and Standards applicable to healthcare. Functions as a liaison with inspectors and surveyors from a multitude of accrediting agencies. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
- Bachelor Degree in related field and a minimum of 2 years relevant experience, or 10 years of progressive, relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- State of Ohio Electrical Contractors License
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of people across the System, to effectively implement compliance, and departmental protocols.
- At least 2 years of experience working with a CMMS, or similar type of system.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a healthcare setting
