Manager Facilities Maintenance - Facilities Engineering
Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility
Manages the daily facilities maintenance operations to provide a safe working environment and repair of assigned systems/areas that serve the MetroHealth System complex, and to ensure maximum uptime. Develops and manages designated facility related projects utilizing in-house workforce, and outside contractors and design professionals, as required. Supports the Construction Management Department as necessary. Works closely with other departments to ensure that the Facilities program(s) fully support the clinical and operational compliance programs.
Additional Areas of Responsibility
Effectively manages a diverse and varying team of skilled trades professionals, ensuring their productivity, and the efficient and effective operations of the Facilities Management Department by:
- Assisting in the formulation of departmental goals/policies/procedures, and directing the implementation of approved changes to them.
Other Information/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Applicable State of Ohio Contractors License
- Working knowledge of TJC, CMS, OSHA, ADA, OBC
