Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility
Applies paints, stains, and other surface treatments to structural surfaces and property.
Additional Areas of Responsibility
- Applies protective and decorative coats of paint, varnish, lacquer and related materials to interior and exterior surfaces of buildings, furniture, equipment and other property.
- Prepares surfaces by washing, scraping, patching and sanding prior to applying finishing materials.
- Mixes stains, paints and putty to match existing surfaces.
- Performs graining, glazing, staining, hanging of wall coverings, furniture finishing and minor plaster and drywall repairs.
- Other duties as assigned.
