Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility
Supporting Business Development in client relationship management.
Leading Preconstruction services efforts including budgeting, design meeting participation, value engineering management and GMP preparation.
Participating in presentations to clients.
Review of specifications and drawings to determine scope of work.
Visiting project sites to determine construction methods.
Establishing bid team with assignments.
Coordinating bond requirements.
Additional Areas of Responsibility
Scheduling pre-bid requirements.
Organizing bid solicitation.
Coordinating MBE/WBE requirements
Coordinating quantity takeoff.
Compiling the pre-bid construction schedule.
Creating the Timberline estimate for input of items by the bid team.
Organizing and Participating in Drawing / Estimate Reviews.
Managing day of bid assembly and submission.
Performing post bid analysis.
Participating in project hand-off meetings.
Other Information/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business or equivalent experience required.
5 or more years of preconstruction and estimating experience in construction industry required.
