Senior Construction Manager - Stormwater
Manages the construction phase of public improvement contracts. Provides lead construction management on multiple projects at a time including high risk, complex projects and is functionally responsible for the construction phase related to each project from within the department and cross functions throughout the District. Assists Project Managers and Construction Managers on assigned projects during the design phase and is a key resource to ensure the project meets set goals. Performs other duties of a similar nature as may be required.
- Coordinates equipment training and start-up assistance for newly constructed facilities.
- Provides input and direction to planning, scheduling and engineering functions as required.
- Ability to manage multiple, complex construction projects concurrently.
- Reviews progress schedule updates and notifies Contractor of schedule deficiencies.
- Performs other duties of a similar nature as may be required.
- Candidate must possess an Associate degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a closely related technical field of study. Bachelor degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred.
- Candidate must possess a minimum ten (10) years of experience in construction management that includes public infrastructure project.
- Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license with a driving record in accordance with the District’s acceptable guidelines.
