Sr. Project Engineer - Geotechnical
Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility
NTH Consultants, Ltd. is seeking Sr. Project Engineer to develop and prepare work plans and proposals for engineering services related to geotechnical investigations/studies, consultation and design, including:
- Defining the scope of field investigations
- Preparing cost estimates and project schedules
- Preparing, delivering and discussing design and bid documents with clients
Additional Areas of Responsibility
- Ability to supervise and manage a multi-disciplinary team as well as projects with minimal oversight
- Sound knowledge and understanding of civil engineering design concepts
- Ability to perform advanced engineering calculations
- Ability to prepare engineering or research reports
Other Information/Requirements
- Master of Science degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, or related degree, from a 4-year accredited college or university.
- 7 – 10 years of demonstrated experience Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or Structural Engineering; analysis and design.
- Professional registration required.
- Previous experience with a consulting firm required
