Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility
  • Maintains calendars; schedules and coordinates appointments for the Chief Legal Counsel and Director of Labor Relations as needed.
  • Writes, edits, drafts correspondence, reports, documents and/or other written materials.
  • Creates, organizes and maintains a labor library providing access and availability to all previous arbitration decisions affecting district
  • Helps manage and coordinate the handling of labor matters with the Talent Department
Additional Areas of Responsibility
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • minimum of five (5) years of experience working in a Law Department or a related field
  • experience setting up, managing and maintaining legal files
  • Proven experience working in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of administrators
  • Able to perform multifaceted tasks concurrently with minimum supervision
  • Advanced working knowledge of Smartsheet, Microsoft Office and Web-based software
Other Information/Requirements

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience working state and federal employment, labor laws, and governmental compliance requirements as well as a wide variety of school law matters
