Stormwater Maintenance Project Coordinator

Main Areas of Responsibility

Works closely with stormwater maintenance contractors and Sewer District staff to coordinate maintenance projects; review, evaluate, and provide suggested improvements to current maintenance projects.  For a full job description, click here.

Additional Areas of Responsibility
  • Coordinates the planning, scoping, negotiating, cost estimating, quoting, purchase order development, regulatory approval, property access, scheduling, project implementation, invoicing, and payment process of maintenance projects.
  • - Provides on-site inspections during maintenance projects as needed and on a scheduled basis, including maintenance schedule recommendations, daily maintenance inspection reports, and inspection updates.
  •  Ensures maintenance projects comply with Sewer District specifications, policies, procedures, and standards.
Other Information/Requirements
  • Candidate must possess Bachelor degree, preferably in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrology or Hydrologic sciences or a closely related field.
  • Candidate must possess five (5) years of experience in performing predictive and/or preventive maintenance throughout waterways, streams, public water systems, and/or wastewater treatment systems. Experience in stormwater management and erosion and sedimentation control is strongly preferred.
