Technology Engineer
Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility
- Support Sr. Technology Engineers with technology design and drafting
- Provide innovative consulting to create effective design solutions
- Maintain an active role with project development and execution
- Interact with internal and external consultants for multi-discipline coordination
- Coordinate weekly with Sr. Technology staff to ensure timely delivery of technology design packages
- Collaborate with Technology Department Manager to develop Revit and CAD libraries
Additional Areas of Responsibility
- Experience in the healthcare, higher education, K-12, entertainment, sports and/or media market sectors a plus
- Experience with Ekahau software a plus
- Experience with other low voltage systems a plus
- Experience with Technology Master Planning a plus
- Experience with System Integration a plus
- Knowledge of the National Electric Code a plus
- Knowledge of the IEEE a plus
- Knowledge of the RF Design and FCC Repack a plus
- Knowledge of the Cisco and Juniper Routers a plus
Other Information/Requirements
- Must have Bachelor of Science in Engineering (with focus on Electrical Engienering)
- Must have minimum 2+ years’ experience in Technology design Engineering
- Must have experience with Revit and AutoCAD
- Must have experience with Microsoft Excel
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must have design experience in structured cabling, security design, A/V design and basic network layout
- BICSI & Infocomm Certifications a plus
