3M Issues Voluntary Recall of Fall Protection Sleeve

"Red Wing, MN – 3M has issued a voluntary recall of its original DBI-SALA Lad-Saf Sleeve," The National Safety Council reports.
In a notice issued Aug. 30, 3M said it recently reviewed the performance of the sleeve in the field – including some instances involving a serious injury or death while the product was in use. The review concluded that although no safety regulator has found the sleeve’s design defective, misuse of the product could lead to serious injury or death."
