5 Consortia Are Finalists for $1.17B Colo. P3 Highway Project

The Colorado Department of Transportation has named five consortia as finalists for the $1.17 billion Interstate 70 East project. The contract is a public-private partnership to finance, design, build, operate and maintain the project. Work includes lowering a segment of highway, removing a viaduct and adding toll lanes. The groups are: 5280 Connectors, Denver Mobility Partners, Front Range Mobility Group, I-70 Mile High Partners and Kiewit/Meridiam Partners. The firms involved are some of the biggest names in construction and engineering.
