More than 400 builders, craftsmen and apprentices attended the inaugural Building Excellence and Craftsmanship Awards to celebrate the construction industry and its role in Northeast Ohio.
Tim Linville, CEO of the Construction Employers Association, said the awards, held March 28 at Windows on the River in Cleveland, underscore the importance of trade apprenticeships in nurturing craftsmanship, and in turn, delivering award-winning projects.
“The awards celebration is a great way for us to let Greater Cleveland know more about the construction industry,” Linville said. “We hope it helps draw attention to the professionalism and skill we have in the trades.”
