Cleveland Public Library Picks Design Teams for First 5 Projects In $100 Million Plan to Improve 27 Branches

By approving these firms, we are beginning to fulfill our promise to the community to take a close look at our neighborhood libraries to ensure our communities’ needs are being met, both now and into the future,” Maritza Rodriguez, president of the library board, said in a news release.

The five firms and the projects for which they were recommended are:

  • Moody Nolan — Hough Branch (new building at new location).
  • Wanix Architects and Williams Architects — Jefferson Branch (renovation and addition).
  • Bialosky Cleveland and Robert P. Madison Architects — Walz Branch (new building).
  • Vocon — West Park Branch (renovation and addition).
  • Bostwick Design Partnership and Ubiquitous Design — Woodland Branch (renovation and addition, plus a central distribution center)."
