Cuyahoga County takes key step in Justice Center Renovation or Replacement

 Cuyahoga County Council on Tuesday approved an $800,000 contract for a consultant to consider whether to replace or renovate the outdated Justice Center complex, which includes the county’s largest and most troubled jail. In addition to the jail, the complex houses public safety and justice-related offices, including the common pleas court, Cleveland Municipal Court, county prosecutor and Sheriff’s Department."
