Trench Collapse Near Willoughby; OSHA Investigating

Rachel Abbey McCafferty of Crain's Cleveland Business reports on this recent local incident:

...four employees of Eastlake-based Domenick Electric Sewer Cleaning Co. were buried and had to be dug out by the Willoughby Fire Department. Two of the employees had to be air-lifted to the hospital. The indication from the preliminary information is that the employees were in a trench about 10 feet deep when it collapsed, the release stated. The trench had 'sheer walls and no visible trench box.'"
