As a part of Women in Construction (WIC) week, March 4-10, 2018, we are highlighting the contributions of local women in the industry. The following interview is with Donna Seemuth, Senior Information Services Engineer at Turner Construction, who has worked in the construction industry for 13 years.

How did you begin your career?

Co-op through an Ohio program that paid a portion of my wage to support the information system field.

What attracted you to the construction industry?

Building! Being a part of building my community's skyline that will last long into the future.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

The people, and that there is an element of constant change and growth of knowledge.

Best advice:

Learn everything you can. No individual or department stands alone. It is teamwork, and everything is interconnected towards the final product.

Too many to name. Every day I see support for BWDBE and I am filled with pride to be a part of the team.
