The Ohio Supreme Court’s recent decision in Ohio Northern confirms the need of every construction industry participant to evaluate existing insurance programs and project specific insurance requirements.  While many industry advisors failed to recognize what was on the horizon, HLP’s Construction Team was proactively advising clients and industry participants to mitigate risk of loss.  Presently, they are working with insurance agents and insureds to understand the risks and problems with existing coverage forms. This program explains various types of coverages available, the inherent risks in standard industry coverage forms and endorsements, and best practices to identify and manage risks to protect your profitability.
