An 8 Hour Hazardous Waste Refresher - All day course that allows one to work on a contaminated site. Certification given.
If interested in only the OSHA Hazardous Communication Standard (Global Harmonization) attend only the am session. No certification to work on a contaminated site.
Eight (8) Hour "Hazardous Waste Refresher" - All day class with certification that allows you to work on a contaminated site.
The morning part of the above class is a four (4) hour class covering the OSHA Hazardous Communication Standard (Global Harmonization).
Four (4) Hour OSHA Hazardous Communication Standard(Global Harmonization)
CPWR’s 4 hour hazard communication course satisfies the general training requirements of OSHA’s hazard communication standard 29CFR1910.1200 and the Globally Harmonized System (GHS). Participants will learn:
- the elements of the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard
- their rights and responsibilities under the standard
- how to read and interpret OSHA label symbols
- how to use health effects information and chemical properties to protect themselves
