Topic: Holiday Safety

From decorating the house to meal preparation, the holidays are a time for celebration! However, they can also be a time of increased safety hazards. This talk will help to keep you and your family safe this winter. Topics will include cooking, electric lights, fire safety, an in-depth presentation on smoke detectors, and more.

Toys-for-Tots:

We would like to ask your help in joining us to promote some Christmas cheer to those less fortunate than us, by bringing a toy (valued at $5.00 and up) to the Safety Council meeting this month. The Construction Safety Council will then match $5.00 per each toy our members bring to this meeting. Toys and a check will be donated to Toys-for-Tots on December 8th. A Toys-for-Tots representative will be present. Any toy you donate will be appreciated, but keep in mind that toys for the age group 13 - 17 is especially needed. Toy(s) should not be wrapped. If you will be donating with a check, please make check payable to "Toys-for-Tots."
