Topic: OBWC Safety Programing and Assistance

Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation has nearly 1,600 employees and assets of approximately $21 billion, it is one of the largest state-run insurance systems in the United States. A part of this year’s budget is to fund specialized grants to help employers improve safety in their workplace. This presentation will discuss the various grants that are currently available this fiscal year to employers from the Ohio BWC for state-insured employers. Presenters will describe the purpose of each grant, how much money is available to each grantee from a particular grant, the grant requirements, and how a perspective employer would apply for the grant.
