The website allows a visitor to apply to become members for all three membership types: Contractor, Associate and Affiliate. The ‘Become a Member’ page includes links to each form.

Currently there are four Membership pages created:

  • Application for Affiliate Membership
  • Application for Associate Member
  • Application for Membership
  • CSC of Northeast Ohio Enrollment Form

A visitor can opt to pay their membership fee online or send a check.

New Memberships

When a visitor applies for membership via the website the designated staff member is automatically copied on the receipt sent to the member and new memberships will show up on both the company and the contact records.

New membership applications will remain with status ‘New’, if the applicant paid online or ‘Pending’ if they chose the Pay Later option, until the staff manually changes it to ‘Current’. The ‘Current’ status will remain in place until manually changed by the staff. No expiration will happen when the membership end date arrives unless manually set by the staff.

Procedure to manage new memberships

If payment was made online:

  1. Review the company, contact and membership records to validate information.
  2. Process payment if sent by check.
  3. Submit membership to Board for approval, after approved then;
  4. Edit membership record to change status to ‘Current’.
