Accounting Coordinator

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Coordinator. This position is responsible for a variety of duties and functions related to the daily operations and support of our project management team. We are seeking an individual who has strong computer skills, attention to detail, and a proven track record to meet the strict reporting schedules and deadlines and works well with others.
Additional Areas of Responsibility
Duties will include, but are not limited to: • Job cost analysis and forecast updating • Accurate costing of vendor invoices • Processing of union payroll • Processing of Change Orders • Organize and maintain job records • Customer billings • Issue and maintain various job and subcontract documents • Assist in bid preparation as needed • Issue correspondence as necessary • Special projects as assigned
Other Information/Requirements
Interested candidates must possess the following qualifications: • 5 years of previous experience, construction accounting preferred • Union payroll background, preferred • Microsoft Dynamics GP experience preferred • MS Excel proficiency required • Proficient in MS Word and Outlook • Experience with AIA progress billing preferred • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills • Accurate, detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
