BIM Manager
Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility
- Develop, implement and maintain BIM Protocol for active projects
- Provide training and technical support for staff, both one-on-one and in group class setting
- Ensure continuing quality assurance and adherence to BIM plans and firm-wide modeling and information standards
- Maintain continuity of information across multiple applications
- Provide general setup, configuration and customization of standard design and production applications
Additional Areas of Responsibility
- Maintain and update current standards, documentation, templates and content
- Handle customization, trouble shooting and product testing
- Responsible for modeling, documentation and verifying design intent during CD phase
- Serve as production/technical support on assigned projects if needed
- Model Management
Other Information/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design and 5+ years of experience in BIM workflow in all phases
- Expert knowledge of, and proven practical background in, Autodesk Revit Architecture and related BIM software. Knowledge of Dynamo a plus
- Solid understanding of Navisworks and CAD applications and best practices
- Familiarity with design applications such as Rhino, Grasshopper, VRay, 3D Studio Max, Sketch up, Adobe Creative Suite, etc. are a plus
