Construction Material Service Technician
The emphasis of these positions will be to perform quality control evaluations on concrete, soils, asphalt, masonry and other construction materials at construction sites and in our labs. This work will require close coordination with SME Team Members and project personnel and daily preparation of field observation reports.
• Basic computer skills and a solid knowledge of mathematics;
• Attention to detail, good writing and excellent communication skills;
• An excellent driving record;
• Ability to work outside, at construction project sites, in various weather conditions;
• Ability to stand for long periods of time; and
• Ability to work occasional overtime, weekends, and travel out of town, overnight to meet the needs of our clients.
• Associate’s degree in Concrete Technology or Civil Technology or a minimum of 5 years related experience;
• Nuclear Density, ACI, ICC and INDOT Certifications required;
• The ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications;
• A solid understanding of basic engineering concepts;
• Basic computer skills and a solid knowledge of mathematics;
