Construction Project Accountant/Administrator
Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility
- Daily job site time card entry in accounting software
- Develop comprehensive working knowledge and understanding of project schedules
- Work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents on the day-to-day operations
- Code and process daily delivery tickets
- Produce time and material billings
- Review costs for extra work
- Record and track equipment movements in and out of the job site
Additional Areas of Responsibility
- Provide administrative support to the project team
- Follow up with subcontractors regarding project documentation as needed
- Maintain all project documentation according to project guidelines
- Perform additional duties as directed
- Foster positive and productive relationships with the project team and owners
Other Information/Requirements
- Two or more years of accounting and/or payroll experience, or any satisfactory combination of experience, education and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Advanced knowledge of a variety of office practices and procedures, use of office equipment including a 10-key calculator, Vista Accounting Software or similar package and MS Office software
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
