Main Areas of Responsibility:
• Developing and implementing marketing and promotion plans, special event marketing, multi-media presentations, advertising and social media marketing campaigns for units throughout the University
• Producing a variety of printed materials and other collateral as needed for marketing communications efforts
• Liaison with CSU advertising agency for recruitment, branding and targeted SEM campaigns
• Preparing web and digital assets for distribution on digital media platforms in support of marketing campaigns.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Provides leadership for and develops, plans and executes integrated communication and marketing plans for University colleges, schools and departments using appropriate tools and resources to maximize impact. Supervises marketing communications team, including account representatives and graphic designers. Seeks marketing opportunities to promote University successes through appropriate media.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field. Five years progressively responsible experience working in a marketing communications environment.
Preferred Qualifications - Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field. Experience in marketing communications in an academic environment.
