Director Planning, Design and Construction
Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility
Leads, directs, and oversees all the routine capital facilities planning, design, and construction activities throughout the MetroHealth System. Coordinates the department activities in collaboration with the planning, design and construction of the System's Campus Transformation plans and development.
Additional Areas of Responsibility
Maintains and emphasizes open communication between department staff, System customers and users, and vendors, consultants, and contractors for each project. Reviews and approves project budgets and schedules, keeping all stakeholders informed of project status. Develops and oversees the policies and procedures governing the operation of the department.
Other Information/Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Program Management, or Construction Management.
- 10 years professional experience encompassing planning, design, contract management.
- Five years management experience construction supervision.
