Manager of PreConstruction

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility

Seeking a creative, highly talented Preconstruction Manager.
Responsibilities include:
• Follows the guidelines and procedures to manage all faces of the preconstruction process
• Verifies timely creation and maintenance of preconstruction schedules and cost reports
• Verifies schedule coordination with project management, engineering, procurement, construction, and external clients
• Develops a standardized subcontractor prequalification process.

Additional Areas of Responsibility

Conducts quantity take off, unit pricing, and estimate assembly as needed.
• Updates staff on construction market and pricing trends
• Manages project team of up to 6 estimators

Other Information/Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology, Business, or other field
• Minimum seven years of experience in the construction industry
• Experience with estimating software systems, such as Timberline, MC2, etc.
