The Oil & Gas Project Superintendent
Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility
This position will provide on-site coordination for all phases of the project, including material, equipment, subcontractors, and labor. While there are specific responsibilities and expectations described below, it is essential that the Oil & Gas Project Superintendent be organized, possess good judgment skills, communicate effectively, and have technical knowledge of earthwork and drainage construction practices.
Additional Areas of Responsibility
- Enforce Safety, Quality, Efficiency and Core values
- Develop daily crew lists and manage field activities to ensure project completion date is met
- Lead weekly foreman meeting
- Develop two-week forecast to proactively identify issues that could lead to problems and facilitate solutions
Other Information/Requirements
- Construction-related degree preferred with no less than 5 years of progressive responsibility supervising earthwork and drainage construction
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask on complex projects
- 5 - 10 years construction related experience
- Able to meet deadlines and driven to closure
- Ability to read construction drawings and understand specifications
