Project Engineer
Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility
The City of Sandusky is accepting applications for the full-time position of Project Engineer. The Project Engineer will provide assistance and technical expertise and recommendations to the Department of Public Works, Division of Engineering Services.
Additional Areas of Responsibility
The Project Engineer will be required to perform work under the direction and supervision
of the Director of Public Works.
Other Information/Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Transportation Engineering is required.
- A Professional Engineer’s License in Ohio is preferred or the ability to obtain within 6 years.
- A minimum of five (5) years of similar, municipal engineering work and experience in an urban setting; serving a diverse community with older infrastructure is preferred.
- Experience in budgeting and finance desirable.
