Project Management Assistant
Job Description

Main Areas of Responsibility
Key Responsibilities:
• Providing extensive customer service to clients supporting their projects.
• Providing construction administrative support for Project Managers and Superintendents.
• Project file set-up, including RFI logs, purchase orders, and subcontracts.
• Attending internal and external meetings; taking minutes and preparing project reports.
• Management of the change order process.
Additional Areas of Responsibility
• Reading, interpreting and understanding commercial construction documents, including blueprints, and specifications.
• Organizing and managing the process of technical submittals.
• Monitoring licensing/insurance requirements.
• Organizing and maintaining construction documents; both hard copy and electronic.
Other Information/Requirements
• Associate’s degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering is required or equivalent work experience. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is preferred.
• Must understand fundamentals of construction and project relationship structures.
• Must have good understanding and working knowledge of commercial construction documents.
• Prior construction experience as a co-op, intern, tradesman, or full-time employee.
